They emerged months later with an exhilarating double-album. And beards. Where Did All My People Go is a slurry blast through Disco, Indie, Punk, and Electro that manages to scavenge bits of DFA, Matador, Wax Trax, and Modular while sounding totally like the Prairie Cartel. Hands down the best debut album out of Chicago in 2009.
